Our client is ideally seeking a qualified accountant (or equivalent) with an understanding of counterparty risk to join their growing risk team in Jersey. The role involves taking responsibility for identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks and will involve working closely with their Trading and Risks team, along with regular interactions with external counterparties.
You must have excellent knowledge of financial and accounting procedures with an understanding of balance sheets and fundamentals of Credit in relation to assessment of credit and default risk. Strong analytical skills are mandatory with a great eye for detail combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working with a diverse range of professionals.
