The Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Bailiwick of Jersey form the Channel Islands which are situated in the English Channel and close to the French coast. Both Bailiwicks are British Crown dependencies and are well regulated international offshore finance centres where the official language is English.
With the blend of British and French influences, the lifestyle in the Channel Islands is quite different to that of the UK. The Islands benefit from stable political systems, along with excellent education and healthcare services. There are currently numerous opportunities within the legal and finance industries across the Islands.
